A little about Jon:
Jon is an exceptionally well-rounded shooter. He is an expert shot with rifle, pistol, revolver and shotguns. Jon is a retired Army Infantry Officer with 20 years of service and three combat deployments. He has been shooting competitively for over 25 years and is a highly accomplished USPSA, IDPA, PRS, small bore rifle, NRA High-power rifle and 3 Gun competitor. He has won local, state, regional and national championships and set several national records. Jon has provided firearms instruction for over 20 years and understands shooters, shooting and firearms. He knows what it takes to place effective hits on the target and take a shooter to the next level.
Jon understands how to instruct and has a wealth of knowledge about shooting, firearms, ammunition and training. Jon is also a NRA certified instructor and NROI Range Safety Officer.
Openrange offers a variety of classes, from beginning to advanced. We also offer these classes, and more, in a private format.
RATES: 1 hour is $80 - additional hours are $75 Each additional person is $50
New to shooting? 2-3 hours initially are recommended, with 1 hour follow up sessions advised.
An experienced shooter, trying to improve/work on a specific point? The 1 hour session is recommended.
Our instructor staff are both USCCA and DOCJT Certified. (Rental firearms are provided if needed, however ammo prices are not included in the lesson) For more information or to schedule a lesson, email Crystal at [email protected].
Please be on time for classes; those 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. A no show will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
